After two years of preparation and many months of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the wait is over. On Saturday, December 12, 2020, during the weekly evening mass at 7 pm, fourteen (14) boys and girls of St Joseph AACC will finally receive the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation.

To eliminate the wait, during the Pandemic, for many Parishes, His Excellency Archbishop José Gomez of Los Angeles has granted and delegated to the priests to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation, a sacrament usually reserved for bishops in the Catholic Church.
“It is with great joy that we join our voices of praise and thanksgiving to our beloved sons and daughters in Christ who will be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit,” said Father Ala. He added “I am indebted to Mrs. Raida Sayegh who generously and tirelessly accompanied our youth on their journey of preparation for the last two years.
“I am delighted to be of service to the Lord and these boys and girls in strengthening their faith. said, Mrs. Raida Sayegh. St Joseph AACC congratulates the parents and the Godparents on this beautiful occasion.” She added, “Let us all pray that those young people continue to find in the sacraments of the Church the strength and the nurture they need for their growth in faith".
The Mass will be presided by Father Ala (as delegated by the Archdiocese of LA). The service will start at 7 pm. Everyone is invited to celebrate with our boys and girls this holy sacrament of Confirmation. all attendees must abide by All COVID-19 restrictions.
